Report illegal content
Send reports to bezrodnov@icloud.com. Andrei Bezrodnov, Play’s operator in Georgia, reviews them personally. You do not need a Play account. English and Russian are supported.
Send the link and an explanation, not a copy of illegal media. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency service as well.
What to include
- The exact Play URL and enough detail to identify the material, such as the item and timestamp.
- Why you believe it is unlawful, the affected rights and any relevant context or applicable law you know.
- Your name and contact email, so we can acknowledge receipt and explain the decision. These are not required for reports concerning the child sexual abuse offences covered by the DSA exception.
- A statement that, in good faith, you believe the information and allegations in your report are accurate and complete.
What happens next
We review reports and acknowledge receipt when contact details are supplied. We assess the material and context, act as required, and communicate the outcome and available ways to challenge it. A report alone does not automatically establish a violation. Reply to the decision if information is missing or you disagree.
Report details are used for investigation and legal obligations. Relevant allegations may be shared with the uploader where needed to explain a restriction; we limit unnecessary disclosure of your identity and contact details. Do not send passwords, access tokens or unnecessary sensitive information.
Urgent: intimate imagery without consent
Use the subject “Play: urgent intimate image removal”. Identify the material and the person depicted, explain that its publication was without consent, provide contact information and a physical or electronic signature. If acting for someone else, state your authority.
For a valid request covered by the US TAKE IT DOWN Act, we remove the reported depiction within 48 hours and make reasonable efforts to find and remove known identical copies within that period. Reports can concern real images or digital forgeries. Do not attach intimate imagery or child sexual abuse material.
Copyright notices and counter-notices
For a US copyright notice, identify the protected work and exact material to remove; include contact details sufficient to reach you, your physical/electronic signature, a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized by the owner, agent or law, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act for the owner.
If your material was removed in error, identify it and its former location; provide your signature, name, postal address and telephone number, a good-faith statement under penalty of perjury that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, consent to the relevant US federal district court’s jurisdiction (if outside the US, a district where the service provider may be found), and agreement to accept service from the claimant or their agent.
A statutory counter-notice can be forwarded to the claimant and disclose your contact details. Where the DMCA process applies, restoration follows its 10–14 business-day timetable unless the claimant gives notice of a qualifying court action.
